How
it Works - Our Process
At An
American Resume we become your career search partner, always
putting your career goals first. All resumes are custom developed
in close consultation with you. We never use templates. Here
is how we achieve this:

After
you contact us, we will e mail you the contract and credit
card payment information. After this has been processed,
we will send you a specialized, industry-related worksheet
to complete and return to us. Completing these worksheets
is also an excellent preparation for employment interviews,
so keep it handy! |
| 2.

We
will conduct a personal interview with you, either in
person or over the telephone. It is important that we
understand your goals and assets before we begin to work
for you. Personal service through personal contact is
very important to us. We are happy to arrange evening
or weekend appointments to suit your busy schedule. |
| 3.

We
will develop a first draft of your resume and/or cover
letter. Before your document is delivered to you, it is
reviewed by a professional independent proofreader. |
| 4.
|
You
will receive a draft which we encourage you to show to
a few trusted individuals for their input. |
| 5.
|
Return
the draft with your revisions to An American Resume. We
will work with you on any revisions until you are completely
satisfied with the final product. The final draft is given
the scrutiny of our professional proof reader. |

Even
after your resume is complete, we want to maintain personal
contact with you. We like to follow up and find out how
the resume and your job search is progressing. |
